About JanMITRA kiosk?
JANMITRA is an integrated e-platform through which rural population of Rajasthan can get desired information and avail services related to various government departments at kiosks near their doorsteps It is a rural centric project with thrust on service delivery system.
Kiosks are service centers in form of small enterprise from where the citizens can avail the services of different departments.

What are the features of e-Mitra?
The primary objective of the e-Mitra is to provide integrated citizen services pertaining to all departments under one roof to the public in an efficient, transparent, convenient and friendly manner using IT in all or any aspects of citizen service to maximize speed, accountability, objectivity, affordability and accessibility from the perspective of the citizens. Citizen can avail the various services through e-Mitra KIOSK or through Internet.
  • Online access anyday, anytime, anywhere There are no holidays at e-Mitra.
    The service is available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. If you have access to the internet, you can conduct utility bill transactions.

     
  • E-mail notification
    The login ID and password required for availing services of e-Mitra is sent to the email address given by the user at the time of registration.

What is registration ID?
Registration Id: Registration Id is a unique registration number for every such citizen willing to use the net-based and kiosk e-Mitra servers.
  • Notified by mail to any citizen logged in for the first time to the e-Mitra Application through Internet.
  • Conveyed to the citizen when he gets registered for the first time at the KIOSK.
  • Registration Id is mandatory for any citizen to avail any of the services through Internet (e-Mitra website).

what is the need of registration at KIOSK?
For availing any of the services offered by e-Mitra at the KIOSK / Internet for the first time, a citizen has to get registered.
  1. Citizen can check the status of previously availed services just by logging in / stating his registration ID/Token ID at the KIOSK/Internet.
  2. After receipt of the payment and enclosures for any service , the citizen is given a unique token ID .
  3. Token Id is unique for every service .
  4. Registration Id is useful for backtracking of token id
     
Note: Every citizen registered to e-Mitra has a unique registration ID. Each service availed by a citizen is accessed by a unique Token ID.

How can a citizen get registered through Internet ?
Following are the steps to get connected through internet .
  1. Citizen connects to Internet.
  2. Browse the home page of e-Mitra web site
  3. Select registration
  4. Fill the online registration form
  5. Payment is done through credit card or net banking
  6. Submit the form
  7. The registration id & password with the receipt of payment will be mailed to the user's e-Mail account.
  8. Registration ID is a must for the citizen to avail any service at the KIOSK.
  9. The Id would be deactivated in case the citizen does not respond to the mail within 15 days.

Availing new service through Internet:

  1. Citizen connects to Internet.
  2. Browse the home page of e-Mitra web site
  3. For availing the service citizen has to select sign-in.
  4. Enter registration id & password in the respective fields.
  5. A list of departments will be displayed.
  6. Citizen can choose the desired department & it's service.
  7. An application form will be displayed in browser window.
  8. user fills this online form and pays the fees (if any) through credit card or net banking.
  9. Submit the form.
  10. The token id will be generated and will be mailed to the citizen's e-Mail account.
  11. A message will pop up that citizen has to submit the required documents in the specified number of days to the concerning department other wise his token Id will be expired.
  12. Citizen can also take the print out of receipt.
  13. Citizen has to submit the enclosures (if any) at KIOSK / department through token id receipt.

How can I register for availing the services of e-Mitra?
  • Click on Sign Me Up .
  • After entering personal information, you are required to enter key information for the services for which registration is to be made.
    If you want to add multiple services in your profile click on Add More Services Button. Key information for each service will be validated with our database and only services having valid keys will be added in your profile.
  • On clicking Register Me button, you will be registered for availing the services of e-Mitra and your login Id and password will be sent to your email account given at the time of registration. The password can be changed by the user, anytime.
  • Payment can be made for registered services only. Services can be added or deleted by the user, any time.

How can I make payment through e-Mitra?
  • Sign-in using the unique user-id and password.
  • Click on the Services Option.
  • Select the Department and service for which payment is to be made. After clicking on Next Button, details of respective services are displayed on the screen.
  • Confirm that the details on the latest unpaid bills shown online match with the physical bills received by you.
  • Select the bill for which payment is to be made.
  • On pressing more payment button, user can add payment of different services to his/her payment basket.
  • Choose mode of payment i.e. Credit Card or Net banking facility.
  • Enter Credit card details / user-id and password for banking facility, whichever is applicable.
  • Confirm the details like Bill number and amount displayed on the screen.
  • Click "Make final payment" button.
  • Note down the details of payment and print receipt from the website for future reference.

e-Mitra is password protected i.e. the access to the service or to any of your personal or financial information on the web-site is provided only if a user provides the valid Login Name and Password.

Further, all Online Information Exchange is Encrypted. Unlike normal Internet communication, information provided to us at our website is sent in a "secure session" established with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL technology). SSL technology secretly encodes the information that is sent over the Internet between your computer and our website. The encryption is done using 128-bit RC4 encryption, the maximum level of encryption possible on Internet.
